Collaboration Opportunity

Interested in partnering with the PORTRAIT project?

We are actively seeking partners to integrate the PORTRAIT framework and software tool into project-based computer science and engineering courses. Whether you are an instructor, department head, or curriculum developer, we would love to hear from you.

Participating institutions gain early access to the PORTRAIT assessment tool, collaborate on refining the framework for diverse course contexts, and contribute to NSF-funded research that advances equitable individual assessment in team-based learning.

We are looking for partners who…

  • Teach project-based computing or engineering courses (CS, CE, SE, or related disciplines)
  • Have students working in teams on multi-week software development projects
  • Want a principled, evidence-based approach to individual contribution assessment
  • Are open to integrating structured portfolio documentation into their course workflow
  • Are willing to participate in lightweight data collection to support NSF research goals
